Airplane!

Yesterday Emma and Mommy saw an old bomber plane flying around Concord Mills, so we had to call Daddy to see if there was an event happening at the airport. After doing what Mommy's do best...forgetting all about it, Mommy and Emma saw the same plane flying around this morning. Then we had to get home and get Daddy so that we could go to the airport to find out what was going on there.

After walking around for a little while, the plane landed. We were able to take a shuttle bus out to the tarmac where it was parked. We took lots of pictures and discovered from another nice couple that there was an event last weekend, but this particular plane had one motor go out. They had to replace the motor this week, which was why they were still here. So come to find out that it was just a big coincidence that the plane was still here and that we were able to see it! How much fun it was though to see Emma get so excited to see the "airpane"! Also we learned that the time we arrived was their last flight, and the plane is actually leaving this afternoon to go to NV for another show.

The best times are those that are random! Mommy is getting use to the idea.
