Morrow Mountain State Park

On the Saturday before Halloween, we went as a family to Morrow Mountain State Park to do a little hiking. We packed up a picnic lunch and headed out about mid-morning on a beautiful fall day. The first trail we did was .6 mile long, which took us by the rivers in the park. We then stopped for lunch and finally headed over to another side of the park for another .6 mile hike. This one was a bit tougher for the girlie because she was already getting a bit tired, but she finished them both! We were so proud of her, and what she accomplished that day. We had such a fun time as a family and are looking forward to doing this again.

Getting ready to head out on the trail.

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween at the Holbrook house. First, we had an outreach with our Care Group, which involved a Bounce House and candy. Always good. Then we brought the girlie home to go Trick or Treating. She wanted Daddy to take her, so Mommy stayed home to man the door and hand out candy. She was a princess but would only wear the dress and none of the accessories. Oh well. She had a blast and still talks about knocking on doors and "trick treat".

My Girl & Harvest Time

We had a fun time and were laughing so hard.

I've had this pumpkin since I was a little girl. Now it's fun to see Emma playing w/ it.
