To Nathan

My husband will be the first one to admit that he is not romantic. In fact, he will work harder not to even have to try than to attempt to be romantic. He believes that Valentine's day was created by the chocolate and card people to make more money. I would agree to a certain extent, but I would hope that one day out of the year would be it in the romance department. All of that aside, my husband stepped out of his comfort zone and did something so amazing it still makes me teary-eyed. He wrote me a letter. I know, I know he also made me dinner and gave me a rose, but the best part of it all was the letter. I'm not going to go into what it said, but he told me exactly what I needed to hear at this point in time. A letter. That's all. It was cheap. It was easy, and it was the best gift of the day. Thank you my CH!!

Our Big Girl

It is hard to believe that our Emma is almost three. The time has gone too quickly. We even met with the school today, and she will start school exactly on her birthday...3/3!! However to take a step back, over the weekend the girlie was initiated into a (ta da!) big girl bed. Now Emma is the big stuff, and she will let you know it too. So far the transition has been relatively smooth...thank you Lord!! Hopefully she will continue to do well with this change.

Happy Valentine's Day

What an enjoyable day so far! Emma decided that she wanted to surprise Daddy with a visit and to take him to lunch. With some help from some friends, we completely caught Daddy by surprise when Emma walked into Daddy's office. After showing Emma off around to the co-workers, we went to Salsaritas for a yummy lunch. Mommy just wishes that she would have brought the camera to catch the look on Daddy's face...maybe next time. Happy Valentine's Day!!

Sharing

We're always teaching Emma to share. Even as adults, we sometimes struggle with sharing something. Emma does not like to always share, but she has developed a passion to share with her Kiddy!! We could never be more proud!

The Birds!

Straight out of Hitchcock! It was the freakiest thing ever! Hundreds and hundreds of them! Worst of all was that they were blackbirds!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The camera doesn't do justice on just how many there were!!

Reading to Mommy

If you can understand anything that she's saying, please let us know...because we have no clue! However, we do know that one day we will comprehend and will be wanting for a teensey bit of quiet. :)
