A Very Bailey Christmas

For a belated Christmas present, we got Bailey a new bed. The problem was that pink was the only color they had, so Bailey now has a nice, new PINK bed!

Christmas Morning

Opening stockings, Emma with her new ornament

Sing it, Girl!

Daddy got a movie

Girlie really likes Curious George, so Mommy and Daddy got her a book

All done. Yea!

It was just the three of us for Christmas morning. The Girlie decided that she wanted to open all of the presents and not to stop to even take a breath before moving on from one to the next. Mommy and Daddy will have to adjust to the Girlie's land speed record for opening presents.

Christmas Eve

We try to go to the Christmas Eve service every year. Praise God that all were healthy throughout the whole Christmas season this year!

Happy Birthday Jesus

Putting on the icing

Decorating with the "J"s

Can't forget the sprinkles!

The Girlie was very meticulous with her sprinkles

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Blow out the candle

Gramma started a new tradition this year of baking a birthday cake and decorating it with the Girlie. After it was all decorated, a candle was lit and Happy Birthday Jesus echoed through the house. The Girlie finished it all out by blowing out the candle. She reallly enjoyed doing this activity and loved singing Happy Birthday!

Christmas Time is Here

Checking the stocking

What did we get?

A Mickey Mouse activity book

Girlie had to help everybody open their gifts

Mickey Mouse Jammin' Bandstand

What did Papa get?

I'll help you Gramma

Gramma and Papa were here for a few days to celebrate Christmas with the girlie (& Mommy & Daddy too). The girlie was able to open her presents, decorate a birthday cake, and just have a ton of fun!

Gingerbread house replica of the Graham house on site

Gingerbread house replica of the library.
The photo doesn't do it justice.

The silo beside the library

An exact replica of the farm house where Billy Graham grew up in Charlotte.

Dawny trying to be artistic

Last night Emma took Mommy, Daddy, Gramma, and Papa to Billy Graham's library to see the beautiful Christmas decorations. This was the first time any of us had been, so it was amazing just to see the site itself. There wasn't enough time to go through the museum, but it is definitely on the to-do list for the future. If you're never been, it is a must!

There will be more posts of the time spent with Gramma and Papa soon. Enjoy! Merry Christmas!

The tree

It's so purdy!!

We were able to once again make the trip up to the mountains with the Balts family to pick out a Christmas tree. The weather was a little chilly but not too bad. We missed out on the snow since it had warmed up earlier in the week. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and no more Charlie Brown trees for us!!!
