The City

New York, Baby! We had the opportunity to head into the city for the day. It was a fabulous day! Fabulous weather! Fabulous company! Fabulously behaved girlie!!!! We went to the Financial District, which is on the south side of the island. There's not as much stuff to see, so it was a very relaxing day. We just walked around and enjoyed the beautiful, old buildings, the water, and the park.

New York Stock Exchange (where all our money goes ;-) )

Federal Hall, where George Washington was sworn in as the first President of the United States

New York City Hall

We walked the Brooklyn Bridge! The girlie loved watching the cars pass underneath us!

Mommy not so much. She was trying to ignore exactly how old the bridge was.

The Skyline

Where the World Trade Center was located.

Since the World Trade Center is now an official construction site, there was no good way to be able to view the area. This sky-walk bridge was the best view that we found. It is still hard to believe that this all occurred.

With my Love!!!

The Fam

Being artsy in Battery Park

My Cute Boy!!

Another artsy pic

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
We didn't get to go over because it takes quite a bit of time, so that will definitely have to be another trip.

City Pier A
It is being remodeled for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island ferry.

"The Sphere"
This artwork was located in the plaza of the World Trade Center.

World War II Memorial

The Wall Street Bull - the busiest spot of the day

Gramma and Papa

She was such a good girl the entire day with no nap!!!
