The day before school started, I decided to take Emma to the zoo as a fun little "end of summer" celebration.  The best part...Daddy came with us!  What a total surprise when I found out that he was taking the day off to go with us.  What a huge help it was too since I was still recovering from my surgery.

First Day of School

Emma has been wanting to go to school since it ended back in June. She was thrilled to know that school has started again.

Locks of Love

After one year, we decided to cut Emma's hair and donate it to Locks of Love. She did so well getting it cut and sitting still for the stylist. She looks so grown up now w/ her hair short.
