Gramma started a new tradition this year of baking a birthday cake and decorating it with the Girlie. After it was all decorated, a candle was lit and Happy Birthday Jesus echoed through the house. The Girlie finished it all out by blowing out the candle. She reallly enjoyed doing this activity and loved singing Happy Birthday!

Billy Graham Library
The entrance to the library
As you're leaving
The photo doesn't do it justice.

The silo beside the library
An exact replica of the farm house where Billy Graham grew up in Charlotte.
Dawny trying to be artistic
The silo beside the libraryLast night Emma took Mommy, Daddy, Gramma, and Papa to Billy Graham's library to see the beautiful Christmas decorations. This was the first time any of us had been, so it was amazing just to see the site itself. There wasn't enough time to go through the museum, but it is definitely on the to-do list for the future. If you're never been, it is a must!
There will be more posts of the time spent with Gramma and Papa soon. Enjoy! Merry Christmas!

Trimming the Tree
Such a pretty sight.
We were able to once again make the trip up to the mountains with the Balts family to pick out a Christmas tree. The weather was a little chilly but not too bad. We missed out on the snow since it had warmed up earlier in the week. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and no more Charlie Brown trees for us!!!

5-5-5
So here is the fifth picture from the fifth folder within the fifth folder for the whole 5-5-5 tag thing that is making it's way around. It's the girlie in May when she was sick. She fell asleep right on the couch after having already napped for three hours. Only later to find out that she had pneumonia. Thank goodness that's over!
Blessings Abounding
There weren't too many pictures taken over Thanksgiving...guess that means too much fun was being had, but Mommy will post what pictures were taken. The company was nice, and there was food aplenty! Mommy didn't even overcook the turkey! Everybody was wanting to partake in the yummy food. The Girlie just kept saying "turkey!". At least we know that she likes it.
Thank you, Lord for getting through another year of trials and of joys!
